Yerevan is one of the most ancient places of the world. There are more than 20 museums in the city.

You can go on excursion to the places of the city which are the most interesting from the artistic point of view. If you are more interested in architecture of the city go on study tour. For those who like climbing on the mountains and lovers of the active rest in the open air they can organize walks with the guide, descents to the caves and climbing tours. They can also organize expeditions within one month and it can be both walking variant, and tour with extremeness elements to the most spectacular places of Armenia. Also you can choose traveling by bicycle. Suburbs and countryside are flooded by buildings and the constructions connected with religion. There are so many of them that it is possible to spend some months in tours and not to have enough time to see all of them.

In most of the cities cultural and musical festivals which besides mark the beginning of spring are held and almost in each area there is whole series of the traditional and more modern festivals lasting within all summer. In June there is a traditional Day of Water when children pour water on passers-by which do the same. Within all summer on days off many holidays or concerts on the lake Sevan coast are held.  

In the majority of cities open-air platforms are equipped on which the groups spreading traditional Armenian musical and dancing culture act, and nearby it is possible to meet products of local handicraftsmen and to try Armenian cuisine dishes.

In October in small town Rasdan the annual autumn festival «Voski Ashun» takes place. The concerts devoted to traditional dances and music are held. The cultural season begins in Yerevan in the early autumn and lasts till winter. The Yerevan art park "Vernisage" holds spontaneous concerts on the territory and the improvised dancing shows within all year.

If you wish to spend quiet evening to the accompaniment of jazz and easy whiff of breeze, near the tiny lake go to the cafe "Float". Concerts performed by the well-known musicians of pop music and jazz are arranged in the evenings. If you only would like to listen to gentle sounds of grand piano go to the cafe "Charlie" where you can again and again enjoy films of the great mute.

The summer water park located on 2 acres of the earth is designed by the well-known Spanish firm Action Park Company and intended not only for children, but also for adults. The park contains some pools, and also the branched out network of various cafes, restaurants and entertaining attractions. The volume of the used water for water attractions reaches 3 million litres that allows accepting up to 3 thousand visitors at the time.

However not all are admirers of silence and rest - then it is a high time to go to the disco! On the disco "Tornado" you will get to whirlwind of light effects, stirring music and dances. Perfectly well arranged disco became favorite place of pastime of youth and city visitors.

If you are the fan of bowling welcome to the popular bowling club "No Problem" in which some complexes are combined. Here it is possible to spend interesting and cheerful evenings, and even the whole days. To visitors services the centre offers restaurants, bars, billiard room, sauna, playing automatic machines, maps. Atmosphere of fine decorated halls and rooms brings to high spirits and unexpected surprises.
