Donbassaero airlines, one of the leaders on the Ukrainian air transportation market, declared opening of a new scheduled flight Odessa – Istanbul – Odessa. The first flight is to be operated on the 19th of March 2006. The type of aircraft on this route is Airbus А-320 with 156 seats capacity.  The fare of the one way tickets is from 130 USD, round trip fare – from 220 USD. Bearing in mind tight trade relationship between Turkey and Ukraine Airline Company “Donbassaero” is planning to carry 1600 passengers in the second quarter of the year 2006.

“Odessa is rightfully considered to be a trade center of Ukraine – according to the Alexandr Grechko, “Donbassaero” General Director – and Istanbul is a heart of Turkey, which goods are widely offered on the Ukrainian market, that is why it is a reasoned decision to build up an air communication between these two cities. Moreover, in the course of time, we are planning also to satisfy a high demand of the Moldavian passengers for this destination”.
